This Brush Bandit's 37" diameter drum is nearly double that of competitive 12" drum style chippers on the market. This added diameter enables the 1290H to cut nearly everything it is fed with the bottom half of the drum. Cutting in this manner, on a downward arc and on an angle, allows the 1290 to chip with ease and consume less fuel. The larger chipper opening and powerful feed system allow the 1290H to process limby materials with limited trimming. It also effectively processes material with very little vibration while producing a uniform, dimensional chip.
The 1290's sleek design makes it easy to transport and maneuver. It is available with diesel engine options up to 140 HP. It is also available as a self propelled unit with a Caterpillar 305 Rubber Tracked undercarriage.
