| The Model 5680 is the most productive waste reduction machine available.
The 5680 is extremely productive with the capability of processing up to 200 tons an hour, depending on the material being processed. It will easily process brush, stumps, whole trees, palms, pallets, construction waste, leaves, compost, asphalt, shingles and lime. It is especially effective when processing large logs and stumps because of its ample opening. In fact, it can quickly and effortlessly reduce a 50" x 40' long dry elm log to usable mulch in less than 3 minutes.
As with the other three Beast Recyclers, the 5680 transforms otherwise unless materials into an extremely uniform end product ideal for mulch, compost, fuel and a raw material for pressed board. The 5680 features Bandit's proven cuttermill technology developed for and found exclusively on the Beast line of recyclers. The 5680's cuttermill is 83' long X 67" in diameter and utilizes the Beast's proven breakaway sawtooth holder design that controls the length of cut while providing protection from damaging contaminants.
This technology is key to the Beast's high production and low operating costs. The cuttermill actually cuts the material as opposed to the beating action of traditional grinders. It is best compared to an ax and a sledge hammer. Would you rather cut down a tree using an ax or a sledge hammer? The choice is obvious. An extremely large screening area inside the 5680 totals nearly 40 square feet of screening surface. A 12' X 48" primary side discharge conveyor is provided along with a 30' X 48" secondary discharge conveyor.
A unique, heavy duty link chain infeed conveyor pulls material to a powerful hydraulic feed wheel. The 5680 is controlled by a radio remote control system. A number of different cutting and grinding tools are offered to produce an end product of specific size or consistency.
